Full Moon Paintings on Slate

I absolutely love painting the full moon! This page showcases my current Moonscape paintings available for purchase. These paintings all include a large full moon with silhouettes of various landscapes which can be modified upon request. Please keep in mind all slates are unique and all paintings are done by hand. Therefore, no two paintings are exactly alike. There will be slight variations in each painting sold.
Each slate is sealed with a UV resistant product and can be displayed inside or out. The sealant does make the slate appear darker and will also add more contrast to the painting. I include jute string to hang the slates utilizing the existing nail holes. If you are hanging the paintings outside I would caution you to be careful where you hang them. There is no UV protection that will protect the paint from eventually fading if you hang the painting in full sun. Additionally, a slate will break if it is hung somewhere that the wind can blow it against something. Pictures on this site are taken BEFORE the sealant is applied to reduce glare when taking the pictures. Once the slate is sealed the background will look ,more black and there will be more contrast in the artwork.

Sizes: The size of slates is listed for what each design was originally painted on. Not every slate is identical so sizes may vary slightly. Sizes can be changed to suit your needs. I have various sizes of slates and I can cut a slate to nearly any size upon request.
Price: The price of each painting is based on the complexity of the painting, not necessarily the size of the slate. It is just as difficult to paint a butterfly small as it is large. If you are local (Lancaster County PA) and paying cash there is a discount available. Prices listed do include PA Sales Tax but do not include shipping. |

If the painting is in stock it will ship the next business day. Realistically, I cannot keep every painting in stock. If the painting is 'out of stock' it can be ordered, but I will need to paint it before it can ship. If you order an 'out of stock' painting I will contact you immediately with an estimate on the shipping date. Additionally, I will contact you immediately if there will be any unexpected delays in shipping.
